Raw Oysters At Steakhouse Left Firefighter With Permanent Brain Damage, Lawsuit Says
A father, ex-Marine, and firefighter suffered cardiac arrest and a permanent brain injury after eating raw oysters at a popular Chicago steakhouse chain, according to a newly filed lawsuit.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Joe Belgio on Monday, Aug. 10, in Cook County Circuit Court, IL, against Gibsons Steakhouse - Oak Brook, LLC, GRG Holdings, Supreme Lobster and Seafood Company, Taylor Shellfish Company, and other defendants.

2 Bar Fights Lead To 6 Arrests At Hudson Valley Establishment, Sheriff Says
Two fights at the same Putnam County bar on consecutive days led to six arrests, including two people accused of assaulting an employee, authorities said.
The incidents happened at La Cantina Loca Restaurant and Bar on Route 22 in the town of Southeast on Sunday, Aug. 9, and early Monday, Aug. 10, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
In the first incident, deputies were called to the establishment on Aug. 9 for a large fight that allegedly included an assault on an employee, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Four people are facing charges after two separate drug investigations in a Northern Westchester city led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine pills, heroin, and thousands of dollars in cash, police said.
