Man Who Shot Friend In Head After Dispute In Yonkers Gets Prison: 'Our Son Is Gone Forever'
A man who admitted to fatally shooting an acquaintance in the head during a dispute last year in Westchester County will spend over a decade in state prison, prosecutors said.
Fidencio Abreu, 42, of Yonkers, was sentenced on Thursday, July 16, to 18 years to life in prison after pleading guilty in May to second-degree murder in the killing of 35-year-old Francisco Vallejo, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, July 17.
