A Pennsylvania man who survived being shot twice during the 2024 assassination attempt on President Donald Trump has died two years after the attack.
James “Jim” Copenhaver, 76, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to the Republican Committee of Allegheny County. His death was announced publicly Thursday, Sept. 24, by U.S. House Republicans. A cause of death has not been released.

A New York woman has been charged with murder for killing her husband, police said.
Christine S. Clark, 43, of Hartford, attacked her spouse, James M. Clark, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, New York State Police said.
Investigators said Christine Clark attacked James Clark, also 43, with a box cutter to slice his body and slammed his head with a coffee mug, according to ABC affiliate WTEN.

An hours-long manhunt for a suspect armed with two long guns ended in his arrest Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the Capital Region, state police said.
James F. Cooper IV, 39, was booked on several charges after the incident locked down a local middle school and left residents on edge, New York State Police said.

Two children witnessed an Albany woman stab her husband to death at their home, authorities said Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Sabrina Balchand-Jackson, 34, was arraigned Wednesday on a top charge of second-degree murder for the death of her husband, 39-year-old Desmond Jackson, the Albany County District Attorney’s office said.
Balchand-Jackson attacked her husband with a knife around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at their home on South Pearl Street and stabbed him in the abdomen, investigators said.
