School Buses Engulfed In Flames At PA Depot Multiple school buses went up in flames at a depot in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia late Wednesday night. At least three school buses were severely damaged when a fire broke out at the First Student Bus Depot at the intersection of Thompson and Butler streets around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The depot is located on Thompson Street just off Castor Avenue. Video shared on the Citizens app showed heavy flames shooting from the bus yard as the fire tore through the parked vehicles.
