A volunteer firefighter is accused of setting three fires across Montgomery County and then helping battle two of the blazes, authorities announced.
Justin Tyler Sholly, 29, of Souderton, was arrested on Sunday, May 31, after investigators linked him to three intentionally set fires in Franconia Township and Souderton over a roughly 30-hour period, according to Pennsylvania State Police and court records.
Sholly, a member of the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company, admitted to setting all three fires during an interview with detectives, according to the criminal complaint.

Chancellor McKee, 22, of Islip, was arrested after an investigation into unauthorized transfers from two victims' bank accounts, according to Suffolk County Police.
The Pennsylvania residents had $2,500 and $4,500 separately removed from their accounts and transferred into a Coinbase cryptocurrency account belonging to McKee on Nov. 12, 2025, investigators said.
