A Pennsylvania man accused of raping a teenage girl "almost daily" for years is facing thousands of criminal charges, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Aug. 7.
Nicholas Allen Spencer, 37, of Clearfield, was charged following an investigation that began when a 16-year-old girl went to Pennsylvania State Police to report sexual messages she said she had been receiving from him, according to the affidavit.

A multi-day manhunt for a man accused of killing his 70-year-old father and setting his Orange County home on fire ended after tips from the public led New York State Police to him, authorities said.
Thomas D. Ryan, 32, was taken into custody at about 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, following a coordinated search in Schoharie County, State Police said. Ryan was wanted in connection with the Thursday, Aug. 6 homicide of his father, Robert Ryan, at his home at 512 Greenville Turnpike in the Town of Greenville, police said.

Driver Fatally Plunges Into Water At Poconos Casino
An 89-year-old Pennsylvania woman has died after a vehicle left the roadway and became submerged in water at a Poconos casino resort, authorities announced on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Jeanette Radzikowski, 89, of Dickson City, was a passenger in the vehicle when it went off the road at 312 Woodland Road in Paradise Township, the location of Mount Airy Casino Resort, at approximately 3:47 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
Emergency responders pulled Radzikowski from the passenger seat of the submerged vehicle, the coroner said.
