At 4:06 p.m., officers responded to Route 22 after a white Tesla was traveling eastbound when it suddenly came to a complete stop in the center lane, Bridgewater police said. A crossing guard remains hospitalized after she was hit by a car in Parsippany last week, authorities said.
On Thursday, Jan. 29, at 3:30 p.m., officers responded to Vail Road and Redstone Drive after Denise Rocco, an on-duty uniformed Parsippany crossing guard, had been struck while attempting to stop traffic in a marked crosswalk, Parsippany police said.
