The distinctive voice that made "Joy to the World" a generational anthem has been silenced.
Chuck Negron, a founding member and lead singer of the rock group Three Dog Night, died Monday, Feb. 2, at age 83 in Studio City, Los Angeles.
His publicist, Zach Farnum, attributed his death to complications from heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the latter of which he had lived with for over three decades.
