Trooper Saw Abducted Mom Alive In Back Seat Before Deadly Virginia Highway Gunfight: Prosecutor
The 38-year-old was sentenced in Virginia on Friday, Sept. 25, to 258 years in prison, with 80 years suspended, for abducting Tatiana David before killing her during a wild shootout with Virginia State Police troopers along I-95.
Prince William County prosecutors announced the sentence on Monday, Sept. 28, nearly three and a half years after the chase ended in gunfire near mile marker 148.
David had been abducted from Ithaca, New York, on April 5, 2023, her 34th birthday.

Drugs Found On Virginia DUI Suspect After He Arrives At Jail Following Crash, Sheriff Says
A DUI arrest following an early-morning crash in Virginia went sideways when deputies allegedly found drugs on the driver after he arrived at jail, authorities said.
Maverick Cabezas Aguilera, 25, of Fredericksburg, was arrested after deputies were called to a crash on Eskimo Hill Road in Stafford County at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
When a deputy made contact with Aguilera, he allegedly had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet, investigators said.
