Free Art Exhibits Bring Long Island Talent To Adelphi
Four free public art exhibitions are bringing Long Island artists and narrative-focused works to Adelphi University's Garden City campus this summer and fall.
According to Adelphi University, the exhibits are being shown across three campus spaces and include receptions, an artist talk, and a workshop.

Bard Scholar Wins $50K Grant For Interactive Art Project
A Bard College professor has been awarded a $50,000 grant to support a large-scale interactive art project using water, sound, light, and human biorhythms.
Julianne Swartz, associate professor and codirector of the studio arts program at Bard College, received the grant from the Bobby Anspach Foundation, according to Bard College.
Swartz was one of two artists selected from more than 3,300 applicants for the foundation’s inaugural flagship grant.
