West Milford's Nick Weinzierl Dies Suddenly, 33, With Wedding Date Less Than Year Away
Nicholas "Nick" Weinzierl had just bought his first home and set a date to marry the love of his life. But earlier this week, the 33-year-old from West Milford passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, his family said.
Nick, who was born on Christmas, Dec. 25, 1991, died on Monday, July 14, according to an obituary on the D’Agostino Funeral Home website.

The man who spat in a driver's face during a protest in Fairview, prompting her to strike multiple people with her car, has been arrested, police said. And not just for the incident involving the driver, authorities said.

A large shopping center in Fair Lawn has been sold again, just under a year after it last changed hands, real estate officials said.
The River Road Shopping Center, located at 17-17 to 17-70 River Road, was sold by TFE Properties, JLL Capital Markets announced Tuesday, July 15. The property sold for $14 million.
The 6.45-acre property includes 92,523 square feet of retail space across three buildings. Tenants include Sherwin-Williams and Walgreens, as well as a vacant former ShopRite with covered parking, officials said.

More than $30,000 in cash and counterfeit bills were seized and six people were arrested in two separate investigations in Mahwah this month, police said.
The first incident happened on Wednesday, July 9 around 4:15 p.m., when Officer Timothy Knutelsky noticed suspicious activity behind a Route 17 hotel, according to Mahwah Police Capt. Michael Blondin.
