1-Car Crash Turns Fatal On Route 17 In Monroe (Developing) At least one person was killed in a crash on Route 17/Route 6 in Orange County, police said. The crash happened in the westbound lanes in Monroe on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 28. At least one person was killed, Trooper Jennifer Alvarez of the New York State Police confirmed.
